Why have we opened an office in South Australia?
In November 2019, the Australian Government introduced significant changes to its skilled migration program. Skilled migrants wishing to immigrate into Australia now have more options to realise their Australian dream by moving to South Australia.
With the introduction of the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) and the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494), migrants and their family can now live in Regional Australia , with progression to permanent residence after 3 years. Unlike previous regional temporary visas, these new visas entitle visa holders to Medicare cover and in some states, subsidised school fees.

What does it take to apply for these visas? You are under 45 years old. You have an occupation on the relevant occupation llist, hold a positive skills assessment and have competent English scores (amongst other things of course, like good character and health). When you meet these criteria, you then apply for an Expression of Interest OR obtain an employment offer from Regional Australian employer. A skill assessment is not required for a temporary employer sponsored subclass 482 visa.
